Okay, sweet friend. Let’s talk.
You’ve got the idea. You know, the one that’s been swirling in your head and tugging at your heart for months (maybe years?). You’ve mapped it out in your brain, scribbled it in a notebook, daydreamed about the launch party… but it’s still stuck in idea-land.
Why? Because there’s no website. No funnel. No bells or whistles or shiny “I’m official” things.
And that’s totally okay. But also… that’s where the stuckness starts.
Let’s reframe this.
Launching without a website is like opening a cosy little café without a sign. People stroll past, peer through the window, smell the cinnamon rolls, but… they don’t know if they’re allowed in. Are you open? Are you selling? Are you ready?
So what do you do?
You grab a marker, a scrap of paper, and you slap “YES, WE’RE OPEN” on the door. Voilà.
Done is better than… well, invisible.
And what if you don't have a lead funnel? It's kinda like your awesome café has no door for people to actually get in, right? The hungry customers are lining up but there's nowhere for them to go. So do you spend three weeks comparing hinges? Or do you say, “Screw it,” and make a cute little gap in the wall? Invite people in. Offer tea. (You can paint the trim later.)
Visibility > perfection. Always.
It’s so tempting to wait for it all to line up. The beautiful brand suite. The funnel that feels like a five-star hotel concierge.
But listen. This is the important bit: You don’t need to wait to look legit. You just need to show up.
Marie Forleo? “Done is better than perfect.” Gary Vee? “Fail forward.” Richard Branson? “If you’re not making mistakes, you’re not trying.” Reid Hoffman? “If you’re not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.”
(Spoiler: They did not start with perfect websites.)
You don’t need a neon sign, a choreographed funnel, or a 12-email nurture sequence to begin. What you need is a sticky note that says:
“Hey. I’ve got something good. Wanna see?”
So, grab the sticky note. Grab the mic. Tell people what you’re doing - even if it’s just in a voice note or a DM.
Your people? They don’t need you polished. They need you present.
Launch messy. Talk early. Sell before it’s built. (They’ll love you for it.)
(And if that makes your stomach flip a little? That’s okay too. Courage lives in the flip.)
Because the longer you wait, the harder it gets. And BABE - you didn’t come this far to keep your brilliance a secret.
Let them in.
Write the post. Make the offer. Break the wall.

You’ll tidy up later.
You’ve got this.
